Gregory Clive Owen (born February 19, 1972 in Mansfield , England ) is an English professional golfer who mainly plays on the North American PGA TOUR .

A highly talented and successful tennis player in his early youth, he became a professional golfer in 1992 and qualified for the European Tour through the Tour School in autumn 1997 . Until 2004, Owen was consistently in the top 100 of the money list and in 2003 he won his first tournament, the British Masters . Since 2005 he has played mainly in the USA on the PGA TOUR, where he just missed his first tournament victory in 2006 at the Bay Hill Invitational by one stroke.

Greg Owen has been married to his former gymnast wife, Jacqueline, since 1999 and has one daughter.
