Gregor Weßenigk

Gregor Weßenigk (or Gregorius Weszenigk ; * before 1465 in Kirchhain ; † 1494 ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman ( altarist ). In 1480 he obtained the degree of a magister artium and then that of a Baccalaureus decretorum . From 1482 to 1488 he was the rector of the Thomas School in Leipzig . On October 16, 1485 he was elected rector of the University of Leipzig .
