Greifswald messages

Greifswalder Mitteilungen is the collective term for two scientific publication series on prehistory research at the University of Greifswald .

The non-periodical series was founded in 1924 by the Greifswald classical archaeologist Erich Pernice . It was continued by Wilhelm Petzsch and was published by the university publisher Ratsbuchhandlung L. Bamberg in Greifswald .

  • 1/1924 - 4/1930: Messages from the collection of patriotic antiquities at the University of Greifswald
  • 5/1931 - 7/1935: Messages from the collection of prehistoric antiquities at the University of Greifswald
  • 8/1935 - 9/1936: Messages from the collection of the Prehistory Seminar of the University of Greifswald
  • 10/1937 - 12/1940: Messages from the Prehistory Seminar of the University of Greifswald

In 1995 Günter Mangelsdorf founded a new series of publications entitled Greifswalder Mitteilungen - Contributions to Prehistory and Early History and Medieval Archeology. She appeared in the Peter Lang publishing group until she was hired in 2005 .
