Grigor Vachkov

Grigor Watschkow ( Bulgarian Григор Вачков ; born May 26, 1932 in Trantschowiza , † March 18, 1980 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian actor.

Life

Watschkow attended the Sofia Theater School, which he graduated in 1955. He then played at the State Satirical Theater. Important roles he played were Seljamsys in Die Kleinstädter by Ivan Wasow , Mayor in Golemanow by Kostow, Aralambi in Tangle by Jordan Raditschkow and Lasar in Lasariza by Raditschkow.

He gained greater fame through film and television roles, particularly in the television series An Every Kilometer . In 1978 he won the Golden Rose for Best Actor in Men's Time . Watschkow was also awarded the Dimitrov Prize . His daughter Martina Watschkowa also became an actress.
