The Große Wünnow is a tributary of the Müritz near Röbel / Müritz in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is the continuation of the Röbeler inland lake of the Müritz, but bends from this at a right angle to the east. It has a size of about 28 hectares and is 62.1 m above sea level. NHN . The maximum size of the lake is 1200 meters by 360 meters. The Sülwerhop marshland, which protrudes into the Große Wünnow from the north, divides the lake into two unequal sections, which are connected by a passage that is only around 30 meters wide. The remaining banks are taken up by fields and meadows, whose drainage ditches are the only tributaries.
There are a large number of boathouses on the south bank. The Müritz cycle path leads directly along the shore.
