The Große Zillmannsee is a lake in the area of the municipality Kargow in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It has a size of 14.1 hectares and is 66.5 m above sea level. NHN . The maximum size of the elongated lake is 930 meters by 160 meters. It has neither an inflow nor an outflow, but is connected to the Kleiner Zillmannsee at the same height and only 130 meters to the south via a weedy ditch .
The Große Zillmannsee lies within the core zone (Zone I) of the Müritz National Park and directly east of the Käflingsberg tower, a viewing and transmission tower.
