Großscheid is a district of Schöneshof in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

Großscheid is located in the southeast of Schöneshof, to the north is the Kleinscheid district .
history
Until 1969 the village belonged to the municipality of Neunkirchen .
In 1830 Scheid had 38 residents. In 1845 the farm had 45 Catholic residents in eight houses. In 1888 there were 54 residents in ten houses.
In 1901 the hamlet had 39 inhabitants. The families Peter Mathias Rosauer, Conrad Roth, Johann Schlösser, Peter Schmitz, Peter and Wilhelm Schneider are listed. Except for the blacksmith Schmitz, all were farmers .
