Great stone graves near Bischofswald

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The megalithic graves near Bischofswald were six possible megalithic Neolithic graves in the forest near Bischofswald , a residential area near Ivenrode , a district of the Altenhausen community in the Börde district , Saxony-Anhalt . All were probably destroyed in the 19th century at the latest. There are no descriptions of the facilities, their possible existence is only proven by the designations "Brautsteinberge", "Steinbergs-Stück", "Steingrund-Stück", "Steinklippen-Berg" and the duplicate designation "Steinberg" on a historical measuring table sheet .
