Great stone graves near Harmstorf (Harburg district)
The megalithic graves near Harmstorf were several megalithic graves of unknown number from the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Harmstorf in the Harburg district ( Lower Saxony ). They were destroyed in the 18th or 19th century. The graves were between Ramelsloh and Harmstorf, on the western bank of the Seeve . According to Christian Schlöpken , at the beginning of the 18th century there were still several artificial mounds, some of which had stone enclosures and stone burial chambers . It is possible that some of the complexes were burial mounds without built-in stones.
