description

Grave 1

Great stone grave Heine 1

The complex has a north-south oriented burial chamber, which is probably still largely covered by the flat earth. Only a few fragments protrude and do not provide any detailed information about the exact structure of the tomb. A large stone in the south is likely to be a capstone. In its middle it has a blast hole.

Grave 2

The grave has a round mound with a diameter of about 13 m. In its center is the north-south oriented burial chamber, which is an enlarged dolmen . It has a length of 4.2 m and a width of 2.2 m. In its original state, the chamber had three pairs of wall stones on the long sides, one end stone each on the narrow sides and two large cap stones. The southern pair of wall stones is missing today, but all other wall stones are still in situ , whereby the middle stone on the eastern long side is slightly inclined inward. The two capstones are also still there. The southern one is still in its original position. It has a length of 2.65 m, a width of 2 m and a thickness of 1 m. The second, slightly smaller stone fell inside the chamber.

The area of the grave is protected as a natural monument ( ND 18 in the Osterholz district ).
