Great stone graves near Klein Gottschow

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone graves near Klein Gottschow were two megalithic graves from the Neolithic Age near Klein Gottschow , a district of Groß Pankow (Prignitz) in the Prignitz district ( Brandenburg ). Leopold von Ledebur mentions that south of Klein Gottschow, to the left of the road to Groß Gottschow , not far from the Jeetzbach stream, there were two “megalithic tombs” that were destroyed around or before 1844 to extract building material for road construction. No information is available on the dimensions, alignment and type of the systems. The graves were searched, but nothing is known about the finds.
