description

Grave 1

Grave 1 has a north-east-south-west oriented burial chamber , originally encased by a rolling stone mound , which is a large dolmen . The chamber originally had four pairs of wall stones on the long sides. Seven stones are still preserved in situ , the southwest stone on the southeast long side is missing. A piece of the southwest stone on the northwest side was blasted off. The north-eastern capstone is in situ, the south-western one is missing. All three capstones are still there. They are still lying on the wall stones, but have slipped easily. The chamber has a length of 5 m and a width of 1.7 m. According to Ernst Sprockhoff's assessment, the burial horizon is still unaffected.

Grave 2

Grave 2

Grave 2 has a north-west-south-east oriented burial chamber, originally encased by a rolling stone mound, which is also a large dolmen. There are three wall stones on the long sides, two end stones and two cap stones. The southeast half gave Ernst Sprockhoff the impression of a modern structure, which is why he only used the northwest half for the reconstruction of the original appearance. This comprised two pairs of wall stones, an end stone and the two cap stones. The second wall stone on the north-eastern long side is pressed outwards, the south-eastern capstone lies broken inside the chamber. All other stones are still in their original position. Sprockhoff left the original dimensions of the chamber open because of his doubts about its true-to-original condition.

The destroyed grave 3

In 1931 Ernst Sprockhoff was only able to identify three stones that he believed to be a capstone and two wall stones. A reconstruction of the original appearance was no longer possible. The stones seem to have been removed later. Ewald Schuldt listed the grave as destroyed in 1972.
