Great stone graves near Kranichshof

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The megalithic graves at Kranichshof were three megalithic graves from the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Kranichshof , a district of Gnoien in the Rostock district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). They were destroyed in the late 19th or early 20th century. The exact location of the graves is not known. There is also no more detailed information about alignment, dimensions and type. Robert Beltz only states that two graves had giant beds , while in the third only the burial chamber could be made out.
