Great stone graves near Stendal

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The megalithic graves near Stendal were at least two possible megalithic graves of the Neolithic deep-engraved ceramic culture near Stendal in the Stendal district , Saxony-Anhalt . The graves were probably destroyed in the 19th century at the latest. There are no descriptions of the facilities, their possible existence is only documented by the place name Stendal itself and the designation "Steinberg" on a historical measuring table sheet.
