Large stone grave in Bochin

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave in Bochin was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Bochin , a district of Grabow in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It was destroyed in the late 19th century. According to an oral communication from Eduard Handtmann to Alfred Götze , it was about 500 m north of Bochin on the top of a hill. Handtmann could only make out fragments of boulders there, which no longer allowed any conclusions to be drawn about the original appearance of the system.
