The large stone grave Damp is a largely destroyed megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Damp in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein . It bears the Sprockhoff number 60.
location
The grave is located west of Damp on Revkuhl Street. The Iron Age stone circle Rote Maaß lies 350 m north-northeast .
description
The complex has a north-south oriented megalithic bed with a length of 22 m, a width of 7 m and a preserved height of 1 m. All the surrounding stones are missing. At the north end of the bed there is a depression in which the burial chamber was originally located. No stones have survived here either. The size of the depression suggests that the chamber may have been a dolmen .
