The Großsteingrab Großenhain (also called Dansenstein ) is a burial site of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near the district of Großenhain in the district of Cuxhaven , Lower Saxony, which belongs to the city of Geestland . It bears the Sprockhoff number 617.

The grave is located about 2 km north of Grossenhain on a geest sloping towards the Langen Moor .
description
The grave is badly damaged and its original appearance can no longer be reconstructed. The burial chamber is oriented approximately northwest-southeast. Only two wall stones on the southwest long side and one on the northwest long side are preserved in situ . A large capstone with a length of 2.6 m, a width of 1.7 m and a thickness of 0.7 m rests on these three stones. Sprockhoff recorded nine more stones lying around when he was taken, one of which has a number of blast holes.
