Hohnstorf large stone grave

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hohnstorf large stone grave was a megalithic burial complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Hohnstorf , a district of Bienenbüttel in the Uelzen district ( Lower Saxony ). It was destroyed in the 19th or early 20th century. It was noted on a map in 1878 by Pastor Karl Kayser and was located northeast of the village on the border with the Solchstorf estate . When they inspected the site in 1969, Gerhard Körner and Friedrich Laux could only see one churned hill. The stone constructions were completely destroyed. No information is available about the orientation, dimensions and type of grave of the facility.
