Kägsdorf stone grave

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave Kägsdorf was a megalithic burial complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Kägsdorf , a district of Bastorf in the Rostock district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It was destroyed in the 19th century. Its location was only given as “on the Neu-Gaarzer Hoffelde towards Kägsdorf”. No details are available about the orientation, dimensions and type of the system. It is only known that around 1844 it still had two cap stones and was generally well preserved.
