The Lütnitz large stone grave is a Neolithic burial site near the town of Möckern , district of Lütnitz in the Jerichower Land district in Saxony-Anhalt .

description

The complex belongs to the passage grave type and is oriented east-west. Three of the four stones of a former grave enclosure are still there. The only remaining capstone broke and fell into the burial chamber. Archaeological excavations were carried out in 1928. Several fire sources were discovered. Ceramics from the younger deep-engraving culture were found within the enclosure, and ceramics from the spherical amphora culture in the burial chamber .
