from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave Nottuln-Buxtrup (also Großsteingrab Buldern) was a megalithic grave of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Buxtrup , a district of Nottuln in the Coesfeld district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It was discovered in 1927 and probably destroyed a little later. The grave was located 2.5 km northeast of Buldern . There is no information about dimensions, orientation or the exact type of grave. It is only noted that it probably had a large burial chamber . A stone ax was found in the complex .
