The large stone grave Rantzau is a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Rantzau in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein . It bears the Sprockhoff number 202.

location

The grave is located west of Rantzau in the south of the Langfelder Holz forest. The Hohensasel large stone grave lies 3 km to the southeast .

description

The complex has a north-west-south-east oriented burial chamber . It is an enlarged dolmen with a length of about 2 m and a width of about 1 m. There are three wall stones on the southwest and two on the northeast long side and two end stones on the northwest narrow side. One stone on the northeast side, the southeast narrow side and all cap stones are missing. The original entrance to the chamber was likely to have been on the southeast side. The wall stones are interlocked and inclined inwards except for one.
