The Groux rock is an isolated promontory in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . In the Ford Ranges it rises 8 km west of Mount June .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Roger G. Groux, ship mechanic in the US Navy and member of the winter team on the Byrd Station in 1967.
