The Franziska mine is a former pebble mine in the Bensberg ore district in Bergisch Gladbach . The site belongs to the Lückerath district . The main operating point was about 30 meters to the north behind the house at Saaler Straße 80. There, in a small wooded area, you can see two distinct and a few smaller digging sites . The pit field was muted on June 6, 1873 for pebbles . It was awarded on November 17, 1873. Nothing more is known about the company's activities.
