The Hombach mine is a former iron mine in the Bensberg ore district in Bergisch Gladbach . The site belongs to the Herrenstrunden district . Due to a Mutungssgesuchs of 21 March 1864 was carried out ceremony of the mining area on August 14, 1868 the name Hombach on Eisenstein. It is located in the vicinity of Oberhombach and covers the Josefinenzeche pit . From the house Oberhombach 4 there is a footpath to Breite.
