The Kupferberg mine was an iron mine near Sechshelden ( Haiger municipality ) in the Lahn-Dill district . The pit was between Sechshelden and Dillenburg near the old national road 277. Mined was Eisenstein . Operation began in 1868 and was presumably closed in 1873. The tunnel should have been around 100 m long.
