The twins Maggot and Fungus live in their parents' hotel, which is a little off the beaten track on a mountain. However, all family members are zombies and the cook is a vampire . The guests in the hotel are also mystical figures. However, one day the parents decide to send Maggot and Fungus to a human school and see that what seems normal to them is not for the people and that they show many differences in behavior. Actually, the students are not supposed to find out that they are zombies, but their classmate Sam learns the secret on the first day. He becomes friends with them and together they face the ups and downs of everyday school life.
Production and publication
The series was produced by Alphanim in France and Ireland between 2005 and 2006 . This resulted in 26 episodes.
The German premiere took place on April 10, 2006 on the Disney Channel . Further repetitions were also held on ORF one , KiKA , SF two and Toon Disney . The series was also released in English on DVD .
