The Gruvletindane ( Norwegian for serrated peaks ) are 2255 m high cliffs in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . They form the northern end of the Kurzegebirge and are bordered on the western flank by a large, distinctive moraine .
Norwegian cartographers mapped the formation based on aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) and gave them a descriptive name.
