Enoch Davidson Komla Kom

Enoch Davidson Komla Kom (born April 6, 1926 , † May 3, 1998 ) was a Ghanaian legal scholar .

Komla Kom was the son of Beatrice Afua Kom from Afeviefe, Peki and Winfred K. Kom from Avetile Peki, catechist and teacher of the Ewe Presbyterian Church . He was baptized, confirmed and was on a mission tour with his parents in the Volta region.

From 1932 to 1937 he attended elementary school in Alavanyo, Achat and Akpafu. From 1938 to 1942 he attended the Ewe (Ethnic) Presbyterian Middle School in Hohoe. From 1943 he studied at the Mfantsipim Senior High School in Cape Coast and was called "Kom the Logician". He was admitted to the bar in 1959 and joined Naoferg Chambers. He was a member of the Ghanaian Academy of Arts and Sciences.
