Grzegorz Piotr Janik (born June 27, 1965 in Rybnik ) is a Polish politician and was a member of the Sejm from 2005 to 2011 (fifth and sixth electoral term) .

After studying at the Jerzy Kukuczka Sports University in Katowice , Janik worked as a sports teacher and director at a school center in Rybnik. He is chairman of the sports club KS ROW 1964 Rybnik . From 2002 to 2005 he was a member of the Sejmik of the Silesian Voivodeship .

In the 2005 parliamentary and Sejm elections , he was elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Rybnik on the list of the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość party (Law and Justice - PiS). He was a member of the Sejm commissions for sport as well as for EU affairs. He was also deputy chairman of the special permanent commission for Poland's preparation for the 2012 European football championship . In 2011 he was not re-elected.
