The KS ROW Rybnik 1964 is a Polish football club from Rybnik and currently plays in the fourth division 3. Liga Poland.
history
ROW Rybnik
The association was formed in 1964 from the merger of KS Górnik 23 Rybnik and Rybnicki KS Górnik and was called ROW Rybnik . In 1968 the club was promoted to the first division for the first time . In the 1972/73 and 1973/74 seasons, the best result was achieved with 7th place. This decade was the club's most successful. The team played four times in the UEFA Intertoto Cup (1971, 1973, 1975, 1976) and was twice group winner here. Rybnik's second team had qualified for the final in 1975, but then the club's first team played and only lost to Stal Rzeszów on penalties . In the 1976/77 season, the club rose from the Ekstraklasa , a return to the House of Lords was not made because after relegation, the club had to let some good and talented players leave. After the 1982/83 season you even had to go to the third division. In the early 1990s, the club was insolvent.

Energetyk Rybnik football club was founded in 1981 and played at the local level.
Energetyk ROW Rybnik
The football department of ROW Rybnik was reactivated in 2003 based on Energetyk Rybnik and from then on was called Energetyk ROW Rybnik . For the 2013/14 season , they were promoted to the second-rate first division , from which the team was relegated again after one season. In 2015 the name was changed to KS ROW 1964 Rybnik . In the 2019/20 season, the club plays fourth class.
