Grzegorz Kasprzik (born September 20, 1983 in Pyskowice , Poland ) is a Polish football goalkeeper who also has German citizenship.

Career

Kasprzik began his career with Górnik Zabrze before he gained match practice with his hometown club Przyszłość Ciochowice . After he aroused the interest of larger clubs through good games, the then still second-rate club Piast Gliwice signed him. With the club he was promoted to the Ekstraklasa and through his strong performances he had contributed significantly to staying up. For the 2009/10 season, the traditional club Lech Poznan became aware of the goalkeeper and signed him for a transfer fee of around 800,000 złoty . In his first competitive game in the 2009 Superpuchar Polski final , he won his first title by winning on penalties against Wisła Kraków . On July 30, 2009 Kasprzik played his first game in front of a European backdrop against Fredrikstad FK in the third qualifying round of the 2009/10 UEFA Europa League , which Lech Poznan won 6-1.

After Kasprzik was out of a club in July 2011, he was only under contract again a year later, namely with Flota Świnoujście . There he played 33 league games, but moved to Termalica Bruk-Bet Nieciecza in July 2013 , where he was under contract until the end of the year. In January 2014 he signed a contract with the first division club Górnik Zabrze .
