biography

society

The Velázquez, who grew up in the state of Jalisco , began his professional career in 1943/44 in the opening season of the newly introduced Primera División at Atlas Guadalajara and after a year moved to Puebla FC , where he was under contract until 1950. Before the 1950/51 season he switched to CD Veracruz and played the Supercup final for this club on August 13, 1950 , which was lost to his ex-club Atlas with 1: 3 nV . Although he has proven to have scored a large number of goals for the CD Veracruz in the 1950/51 season, sources list him in the Atlas Guadalajara master squad, for which there is no other evidence. In the 1951/52 season he was again under contract with Puebla FC.

National team

Velázquez made his debut in the Mexican national team in a friendly on May 26, 1950 against Spain, which was lost 3-1. Also in the next text game against the same opponent two days later, which this time ended goalless, he was on the field.

His other international matches were held as part of the 1950 World Cup , where he played all three Mexican games.
