The Guaneguane is a 5105  m high volcano in northern Chile . It is located 150 km west of Arica in the Lauca National Park in the Cordillera Occidental mountains in the central Andes . It is opposite the volcanic twins Parinacota and Pomerape . The ascent is possible as part of a trekking tour, from the end of the piste about 3 hours of walking time to the summit should be planned.
