Gudrun Hausch

Gudrun Bettina Hausch (born August 23, 1969 in Tübingen ) is a former German judoka who won two medals in the weight class up to 56 kg at European championships .

In 1986, Hausch finished seventh at the European Junior Championships. At the German Championships in 1988 she came in second behind Regina Philips . In 1990 she defeated the Spanish Miriam Blasco in the semifinals of the European Championships in Frankfurt , in the final she was defeated by the French Catherine Arnaud . In autumn 1990 Hausch won her only German championship title.

At the European Championships in 1991 in Prague, she lost in the quarterfinals to Tatyana Volobueva from the Soviet Union. Gudrun Hausch won a bronze medal with three wins in the Hope Round. At the 1991 World Championships , she finished seventh. In 1992 women's judo was on the program for the first time at the Olympic Games in Barcelona . In her first fight, Gudrun Hausch lost to the Austrian Barbara Eck after 2:05 minutes .
