Wiebke Werlein (born January 19, 1979 ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Werlein belonged to the Bundesliga club 1. FFC Frankfurt from 1998 to 2003 , for which she was active as a defender . She played 25 Bundesliga games for the club and thus contributed to four championships. The DFB Cup, however, she won with the team five times in a row; although it was not used in any of the five finals.
After the end of her professional career, she continued her career in clubs from the lower leagues; she played until 2007 for the Rodgau district club TGM SV Jügesheim in the Oberliga Wiesbaden, then, from January 2008, for a while for Germania Wiesbaden in the Regionalliga Süd . Since the 2018/19 season she has been active as a midfielder in group 1 of the Oberliga Wiesbaden for the Bad Camberg district club RSV Würges .
