Gudrun Thiele

Gudrun Thiele (* 1944 ) is a German journalist , program spokesperson , presenter and author .

Life

Thiele worked for GDR television from 1966 to 1991 . First she completed a speaker training as an editorial assistant in the Halle studio. Since 1969 she spoke as an announcer on GDR television, where she mainly designed the morning and morning programs of the DDR 1 station. She then moved to the Berlin studio as a journalist for GDR television.

From 1981 to 1991 she hosted the advice program You and Your Pet . In 1990 and 1991 she also presented the show Gudrun's Animal Quiz , for which she also wrote the scripts. After the fall of the Wall, both programs were canceled and Thiele initially withdrew into private life.

From 1988 she was married in second marriage. However, her second husband died of cancer in 1989.

In 2009, her book Princess on Four Paws: Cat Stories was published . She also recorded the audio book version published that year.

Gudrun Thiele lives in Berlin.
