The Haubenberg is 505.1  m above sea level. NHN high, wooded mountain west of the Spalter hill country in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The mountain is one of the highest elevations in the Haundorf Forest .

The wooded Haubenberg rises in the northwest of the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district. Southeast is Haundorf , south of the district Aue , east of the district suffering Ingendorf . The Mittelberg rises to the west . A small tributary of the Ziegelleitenbach rises on the northwest slope . The district road WUG 22 leads south, the district road WUG 23 east past the mountain.
