The Ziegelleitenbach is a left tributary of the Erlbach near Haundorf in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . At around 3.7 kilometers in length, it is the longest tributary of the Erlbach.

The Ziegelleitenbach rises at an altitude of 476  m above sea level. NN between Haundorf in the south and Oberhöhberg in the north near the European main watershed and not far from the district road WUG 23 in the middle of the Haundorfer Forest , framed by the hills of the Spalter hill country . It takes on several small, nameless streams that come from the slopes of the surrounding mountains, such as the Haubenberg , the Höhberg or the Mittelberg . The Ziegelleitenbach flows out at an altitude of 406  m above sea level. NN between Neuhof and the southernmost settlement block of Obererlbach from the left into the Erlbach.
