Guerra is a place in the US state of Texas in Jim Hogg County .

Shortly after 1900 the Mexican landowner A. Guerra founded the place, which was initially called El Colorado. In 1906 Guerra received a post office. In 1914 the place was home to around one hundred residents and 16 businesses. From 1920 to the late 1960s, about fifty people lived in Guerra. In the 1970s the population rose to 75, and the place acted as a supply center for the surrounding ranches.

Guerra only had eight residents in 2000, making it the smallest town in Texas in terms of population. Guerra has an area of ​​15.3 km² and is located at the coordinates 26 ° 52 ′ 57 ″ N, 98 ° 53 ′ 40 ″ W.
