Guerrero is the administrative center of the municipality of the same name Guerrero in the Mexican state of Coahuila .
According to the 2010 census, it had 959 inhabitants.
In June 2011, 1,314 charred bone pieces were found in 20 pits in Guerrero. Cartridges, items of clothing, coins and parts of wristwatches were also found in it. They are likely victims of the drug war in Mexico .
