Guggemoosen is a district of the municipality of Rückholz in the Swabian district of Ostallgäu . The hamlet is located about one and a half kilometers east of Rückholz and can be reached via the district road OAL 1 .
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1455. Until the middle of the 16th century it was called Batzengschwenden under the Halden . The current place name is the family name of a Guggemos family who lived there in 1455 and died out shortly before 1600.
