The Wilckens Gully is a glacial channel in the clay-like rock on the east side of the Spath Peninsula of Snow Hill Island in the Antarctic Weddell Sea .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1995 after the German geologist and paleontologist Otto Wilckens (1876-1943), who had written a treatise on the results of the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901-1903) under the direction of Otto Nordenskjöld .
