Guido III. from Châtillon

Guido III. von Châtillon (French: Guy ; † 1191 before Akkon ) was a lord of Châtillon , Troissy , Crécy , Montjay and Broigny . He was a son of Guido II of Châtillon († around 1170) and Alix von Dreux, a daughter of Count Robert I von Dreux .

As a member of an advance squad of French and English crusaders, Guido took part in the third crusade and reached the siege of Acre in July 1190 , in the course of which he died. His younger brother Walter III. took over the Châtillon possessions.
