Guido Pott

Guido Pott (born December 15, 1966 in Wallenhorst - Hollage ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2017 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1986, Guido Pott completed an apprenticeship as a savings bank economist.

Party and politics

Pott has been a member of the SPD since 1983. He was first elected to the council of Wallenhorst in 1986 and has been chairman of his parliamentary group since 2001. Since 1996 he has also been a member of the district council of the Osnabrück district .

In the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2017 , he received a direct mandate in the Bramsche state electoral district . He had run there as early as 2013 , but lost to the CDU office holder Clemens Lammerskitten .
