Guido Schröter (* 20th century ) is a German cartoonist and author .

Life

Guido Schröter has been publishing soccer cartoons in various print media since 1989. He started with comics about the fans and players of FC St. Pauli in the fanzines Millerntor Roar and Der Übersteiger . From 1995 onwards, cartoons about all football events were created, which appeared in football magazines such as Hattrick , 11 Freunde (50 issues) and various stadium magazines.

In 2004 the Saturday comic series Football Gods started in the weekend edition of the Süddeutsche Zeitung . Since the soccer World Cup in 2006 , the series has appeared daily at international tournaments in various newspapers ( Hamburger Abendblatt , Stuttgarter Nachrichten and others). To date, Schröter has published twelve comic albums and various calendars with various publishers. In autumn 2006 he started planning and developing the format of an animated version of the football gods . The short films were broadcast by the ARD sports show from January to May 2007. From August to December 2007, the football gods had their fixed broadcasting slot on every Bundesliga Saturday at Premiere. The online comic sticker album St. Paulini was launched in September 2008 and was awarded 3rd place in the German Sports Marketing Prize in February 2009. Also from 2008 Schröter published columns under the title Unser Ole - Comics about the Hamburg situation in more than 25 issues in Szene Hamburg . Since 2006 his comics have been published weekly on the website www.scheissfussball.de

  • 1995 1st prize at the Ehrlich Billig exhibition in Hamburg (awarded by INC, Initiative Comickunst eV)
  • 2009 3rd place in the German Marketing Prize for the St. Paulini online scrapbook together with Gravis and superReal
