The Millerntor Gallery has been an annual art, music and culture festival in Hamburg's Millerntor Stadium since 2011 , with a focus on street art . The four-day event was initiated by the non-profit organization Viva con Agua and FC St. Pauli .

The aim is to exhibit contemporary art by young international artists. In addition to visual arts such as painting , drawings , sculptures and photography , performing arts such as video art , performance and urban art are also presented. Around 1700 m² of wall and ceiling space in and on the south and main stands of the football stadium are repainted by the artists every year. In 2018, the event showed a total of around 500 works of art by 120 artists from 23 countries.

It is organized by the non-profit "Viva con Agua Arts gGmbH", whose shares belong entirely to Viva con Agua. In addition to a few full-time employees, several hundred volunteers work on the organization on a voluntary basis. 30 percent of the event proceeds from the sale of art remain with the participating artists, 70 percent go to water and educational projects of the Viva con Agua de St. Pauli eV.

In 2014, for example, works by Ólafur Elíasson and Christoph Schlingensief were on view in the gallery .
