Guido Van Sweevelt
Guido Van Sweevelt (born April 15, 1949 in Mortsel , Belgium) is a former Belgian cyclist .
After Sweevelt became the Belgian amateur road champion in 1969 and won a stage of the peace drive in 1971, he turned pro in 1972 . During his career he won several sections of smaller stage races and in 1978 the overall classification of the Three Days of De Panne . He achieved his best placements in the classics at Paris – Roubaix , where he was ninth in 1975 and seventh in 1978. After the end of the 1982 season, he ended his professional career.
