Guillermo Naranjo Piñera (born May 22, 1965 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .
career
The native Chilango spent most of his professional career at his "hometown club" Club America , with which he won the championship title three times and the CONCACAF Champions' Cup twice.
He made it to the national team in 1988 , but was never called up after these two appearances.
After his active career, Naranjo worked in the coaching staff of Club América from 2002 to 2007 and is now in charge of the club's own football school Escuela Matriz y Filiales del Club América .
