Guillermo Yávar

Guillermo Yávar (born March 26, 1943 in Chile ) is a former Chilean football player .

Career

The "Yemo" used in midfield and storm played the world championships in 1966 and 1974 . He came on three missions. During his career he played for nine Chilean clubs, including the top club Universidad de Chile . After his professional career, he was still active as a coach from 1983 to 2002. The 1.68 m tall Yávar was three times Chilean champion (1967, 1969 and 1973). In total, he came to 57 internationals, in which he scored eleven goals.
